Most company sites hide behind info@. A message to info@ goes nowhere. A message to a named person starts a conversation.

Here is how I find the name, in order:

  1. Team page and About page. Small companies list real names and titles.
  2. Press releases. The contact at the bottom is often a named manager.
  3. Podcast episodes and interviews. Guests introduce themselves with a title.
  4. Author bylines on the company blog. The writer is often the buyer.
  5. Job posts. The hiring manager's name sometimes appears in the post.

One name changes everything. Then check the email honestly: verified, pattern-match, or generic. Only named contacts with a checked email count toward the 50.

info@ is a door with no handle. Find the person first.
