Personal media library app ( MADLAND)

I've been building my own media management app (MADLAND) for the past 6 months using claude. Yeah i'm using Ai cus i have zero knowledge in coding and i don't have the time to learn it. I don't plan to publish the app it's for personal use only but i'm sharing something i'm passionate about and asking for advice and suggestions if that's ok with moderators. It's still not finished of course and there are plenty of things to improve and add and the list of features is too long to share in a single post so i'll mention a few. This is not an advertisement and there is alot going on that i'm in the middle of restructuring core features and core files or functions.
1- The app's pages are split into five main categories which are the following: 1- Main media libraries (anime , manga, Novels , books , Tv series , Movies , documentaries and games. ) 2- Explore section which has ( Discover, Seasonal , Telegram , Roleplay, Downloads ). 3- The more section which has the following : ( Images which is having an overhaul right now , Music , History , heatmap, notes , Calendar, import from anilist or MAL, Statistics , Achievements , sources , settings ) 4- My sections which are custom libraries or section that you want to add files to that don't fall under any of the main libraries. 5- plug ins which only have the icon manager plug in and the Gemini client plug in .
Stuff you can do with the app:
1-Connect your MAL or Anilist accounts and pull the lists and save them locally , as you watch your lists will be updated live on the website .
2- You can link entries to local files and it will automatically link each episode to the correct episode number in the episodes list. Same applies to manga , volumes of light novels, books , tv series , movies , documentaries. library has it's own metadata fetcher manga can use either MAL , anilist , mangadex or Suwayomi.
3- You can use IRC , Nyaa torrent download (which requires you set up qbittorrent as a server to link it to the app, anipy-cli- yt-dlp -cyberdrop-dl - direct DDL , to search and download episodes . You can also use Suwayomi to download manga , galaryl - dl to download images and Anna's archive , lib gen , and the internet archive to search and download manga and books. All those download scripts are linked to the ai in the app so you can ask the ai to download the books, anime for you .
4- Wiki fetchers that saves all the fandom wiki to your series bible which the ai can read in case you want to find a specific information.
5- There's also scripts to search the internet for data on which episodes are fillers or canon , search for OP/ED timestamps and adds them to the database so that you can skip them when watching . And another tool to search and auto assign which chapters or which light novel volumes are covered in which episodes . All those tools are usable by ai or can be run automatically by the app or you can add them manually .
6- The discover page pulls MAL and anilist , youtube or Suwayomi to discover entries and allows you to add entries to your libraries . You can run multiple instances at the same time of this page.
7- The seasonal page shows you anime based on season.
8- The telegram page allows you to link your telegram accounts to the app.
9- The roleplay page allows you to add ai roleplay cards to the app and roleplay with them . The system is a bit complicated to explain fully here but simply put: You add a card , use the api connected to the app to chat and roleplay with the character . inside the chat you have multiple systems under the hood, like an auto arcs creator which fetches arcs for that specific series from only using ai and builds a structure progressive timeline that you can decide which point to start from . When you mark an arc finished the app sends a comfy ui request to create a background image for that arc but i never got comfy ui to give accurate results cus i have a gtx 1060 with 6Gs of vram so i can't run a good model. You can run as many chats as you want since the cards are saved offline. You can add lore books , characters' info with images and information and backstory and which arcs they appear in , and if you don't have a good GPU like me , you can instead add images to the gallery of that chat and assign them to which arcs they represent and they will auto activate as a background when you reach that arc .
10- For music you can add the music files you have , fetch subtitles and translate them and make them sync with the song if they don't have timestamps, you can convert files (all over the app ) and create time stamps for parts you like in a song. You can even download music videos from youtube or search a song and download it inside the app. either from sound cloud or a direct download link (ik i need more sources but i'm still working on the app) . There's also a simple visualizer with the abilit to add a video to play inside it.
11- For the notes page there's few important stuff here. 1- You can save timestamps from any video you watch add tags and title to that note other than the anime name and episode since those tags are saved automatically , any books , or manga (for books and manga you have OCR feature and you can even do snippets instead of text) which will save the source name and page. In the notes page when you double click or click the play button the video , or book or manga opens exactly at that time of the episode or at the right page of the book or at the right part of the manga page or panel . Same for audio and music. In the notes page you have the option to trim the video , audio , or save the snapshot as a separate file .
12- The Achievements page is as it says . However i've built a system to let the ai fetch the arcs of the anime i'm watching and it auto builds achievements for that anime \ manga\ book and compares the achievements with your current progress and shows you how far you are from completion and when you complete it you get a notification .
13- For sources page , it allows you to enable or disable download sources as well as create new ones using ai . This function is linked to the chrome extension i made for the app to make building those download scripts easier.
14- The icon manager allows you to change the icons of the folders you have linked to the cover art of that anime . it gives you the option to either only use the cover , or put a folder icon with the cover overlaid .
That's of course not everything but it's a general view . .
