One of the biggest reforms in the education policy is the change in the structure of education. The traditional system was 10+2, which means classes till Class 10 were the same for all, and after that, in the +2, students had the freedom to choose a stream. That was changed to 5+3+3+4.
Foundational Stage (5 years): This includes that a student for 3 years goes to preschool. After that, he goes to Classes 1 and 2. The age group here includes 3 to 7 years.
Preparatory Stage (3 years): This includes Classes 3 to 5, which includes the age group between 8 and 10 years. Here, the students get interactive education and creative learning.
Middle Stage (3 years): Classes 6 to 8 are included. Students get skill knowledge here, like coding and all.
Secondary Stage (4 years): Here, Classes 9 to 12 are included, where students get multidisciplinary knowledge and flexible learning.
