If the platform doesn’t push you to non-followers, you’re on hard mode.

No strangers = no growth.

Here’s the filter I use (and it’s boring on purpose):

1) Algorithm

Does it reach non-followers?

If not, don’t make it your main channel.

2) Hero format

Each platform boosts one thing.

Do that thing:

  • IG/TikTok/FB/Snap: short-form
  • YouTube: 10–30 min (best conversion)
  • LinkedIn: short text or short video
  • X/Threads: short text

3) Buyer density

Where do decision makers already hang out?

4) Tiebreakers

Effort, AI risk, LTV, conversion, shelf life.

Rule: one hero platform + one hero format + one buyer.

That’s when content starts generating leads instead of “engagement.”
