High-wattage LED cooling solutions are widely available — but mostly as integrated, finished products.

At high power levels, cooling systems are often:

tightly coupled to specific devices

not accessible as modular components

difficult to adapt for research or custom formats

For independent engineering, this creates a different kind of limitation.

The issue is not whether cooling works —
it is whether it can be studied, modified, and iterated.

Once thermal design moves outside closed products, engineering freedom becomes possible again.
